ABM – Tools for Artists
Singing Bear’s new release Gold is already turning heads before it has even been released. In order to publish and promote this album at the scale that is it clearly slated for, Singing Bear and his team have created this Indie Label – Always Be Music (ABM). However, unlike many small independent labels, Anthony Singing Bear has had a broader vision to incorporate other unsigned artists in his genre and to provide an outlet for musicians to explore different avenues and tools on the web for artists to use to get their music heard by more people.
The process of producing and promoting an album as an independent small label is kind of like a tiny fish trying to swim across shark infested waters, and in the economic downspin these sharks are practically starving to death. However, Bear and his team through many connections that they have in the industry have already been able to get the attention of radio stations, web sites, and large festivals. This is clearly a learning process for us all.

My programmer is trying to persuade me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using Movable-type on a variety of websites for about a year and am nervous about switching to another platform. I have heard great things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can import all my wordpress posts into it? Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated!
