Question by ginga: Has anyone just heard arctic monkey’s new song ‘crying lightening’ played on the radio? What’s the verdict?
I think I love it although personally I think it’s not as good as other album’s singles (when the sun goes down and brianstorm were pretty much instant favourites of mine) but judging by the standards of even some of their b sides for their first singles anyting they do will be incredible so fingers crossed for the third album living up to our expectations!
so that’s my opinion, what’s yours?

I love it, it’s quite cool. Except I think the production could’ve definitely been better. Although it’s gotten stuck in my head already.

I mean, I love the early Arctic Monkeys best, like Bigger Boys and Stolen Sweethearts, but this is definitely a great step. I’m glad they haven’t stuck with the same old thing for three records.

EDIT: Ok, I just relistened to it a BUNCH of times and now I just love it. I must’ve gotten a bad rip before, but I just bought it from iTunes and it’s awesome.
