@MrMViceroy – greed is a very destructive trait and has run rampant across the globe. We have it in our power to stop it and that is what I have dedicated my life to doing. There is a better way to live life and it begins by eliminating the consumer debt system. We’ve begun a ground up organization that will bring attention to the plight of the world and offer some solutions while listening to ideas on how we can improve our existance.

I grew up in the most beautiful countryside you can imagine. Went back two years ago to see it again. The valley our family farm used to look out over is now a big open cast mine. The paddocks have been sub-divided into a number of low rent properties and the swamp where me and my sister caught frogs with our cousins has been drained for development. I always fantasized I’d return there when I grew old. That place now only exists in our memories.

Everytime I hear this song…. I start to think back to my years as a kid… Being outside all the time, hanging with friends in the forrests.. When I look at my life now, just a few years later… With Xbox 360, computer, TV and all kind of technology…. I really miss my childhood… So, I think I’ll do a little change when the sun is shining in the summertime. Thanks John Denver! You’re an inspiration <3

@BlueCloudsES Ive always wanted to visit Scotland, the land of my ancestors. Where should a newbie visit in the country?
February 20th, 2012 at 10:27 am
I’m a true country girl stuck in a city..
I feel home-sick listening to this even though I haven’t ever lived on a farm except for visiting my grandpa’s farm. Not where I belong..
Country roads, take me home, to the place, where I belong!

@BlueCloudsES I’m from WV and am Scotch -Irish ancestry. The theory is that the Scotch-Irish settled in WV because the land reminded them so much of Scotland.
February 20th, 2012 at 2:04 pm
@BlueCloudsES I’m 15 year old… I do play PC and I used to play Xbox.. And you are a 100% right… It’s great being outside in the forest with your bestfriends from early in the morning to late at night!
So just to tell you, there’s still someone who still does that ;D

I miss kentucky!!!!! :’(
February 20th, 2012 at 4:00 pm
@2minstral Yeah, then falling out of trees, but not caring and go up again. Geez, the world’s changed so much now everyone wants to play the Xbox and PS3 i like them but nothing beats being outside in the forest with your friends from 8am to 10 pm only coming in for food, i lived on the same all my life and i look at the tree me and my best friend climbed and built a tree house from scratch. I don’t see how that was 20 years ago.
February 20th, 2012 at 4:00 pm
@BlueCloudsES – I hear you. Nothing like a forest to make tree forts and let the imagination run wild. Or building go carts with wood, nails and baby stroller wheels…
