Question by magicnein: What are the best ways to raise money for a Production?
My school has a Shakespeare Acting Troupe, we call ourselves “Got Shakespeare?”. This year we are planning to put on Macbeth. Many of us are Seniors this year, meaning that the Scottish Play is going to be our last play, and we all have a lot of really good ideas.

However, our Budget for when we put on the Tempest was only about 0. All of what we want to do for Macbeth is going to cost a lot more than that. I’m thinking that around 00 would cover everything.

We haven’t gotten everything that we want to do set just yet, as our production is set for this Spring. So what exactly our costs will be, I don’t know.

I want to raise money for this, and I want to do simple things, like Bake Sales, but I need more ideas than that. Any suggestions?
I forgot to add that I’m located in western MI, so business-related ventures are a bit limited.

    What about a Coffee fundraiser?
Specialty coffee and beverages is an exploding market nationwide and people are going to buy it anyway, therefore, why not have some of the money profit your group/organization. Java Joe’s Roasting Company is an upstate New York based coffee roaster, who specializes in fundraising. Organizations will realize a profit of $2.50 or more per bag sold. The products will be customized to promote your organization (free of charge) and there are no set up fees or minimums. This fundraising program is equitable and offers your supporters a first class practical product that is perfect for every day use. Good luck! I hope I was able to help.

    p.s. My son’s preschool made $2,496 during a 2 week campaign.
