I have an Epiphone Mandolin with Gold hardware. The tuners have begun to corrode a little bit. Does anyone know how to get rid of what’s there and prevent more from coming back?

Use “Simple Green” cleaner for the cleaning part. it is non-toxic and will not harm your mandolin.
Then paint the parts with vinegar to prevent it corroding again.

You probably won’t be able to get rid of the corrosion if it is on the peg knobs since it usually starts under the surface of the gold plating.
If the corrosion is on the gears you could remove the whole machine and use a little baking soda and water.
    Dry really well.And lubricate.
Or you could get new ones on line from Stewmac.com or LMI
