Question by fp28: Can anyone translate of two arabic terms (song titles) – “Ya Bay” and “Ya Oud”? ?

“Ya Bay” is a traditional Arabic song, I’m told.
“Ya Oud” is modern, by Anna Murkus, on-line at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzrIswxnxgw. Sorry I don’t know Arabic so I can’t translate either one. (The best I’d do is phonetic spelling, which probably wouldn’t be worthwhile.) I use both songs in dance, and I’d love to interpret their meaning correctly when I do.

-Ya Bay in some arabic accents means : O father.
-Oud : is an oriental music instrument looks like the guitar,
if u sent me the whole sentence , i would be able to give you something that makes sense.
