Personal favourite- drums. Violins are one of the toughest instruments to play. Whereas with drums, you need a really good, in-built sense of rhythm,,,

Drums are rocking and violin is soothing…being a violin player i luv its tune…i also like drums…bt for violin i dnt need audience al time…its for me…a gud spare time which also makes up a bad mood and giving energetic feeling…not a drum beat bt a violin music will touch the listener’s heart anytime! bt u need a lot of practice!!!!!!!!!

It depends on what you are looking for.

If you are looking for a hobby then I suggest Drums but violin is good if you want to be dedicated and make it a big part of your life. and in social ways they both have excellent opportunities. The violin is slightly harder

Drums all the way! When you play the drums, you feel alive and separated with the world. :)

Are you joining a school orchestra? By the way if you play “drums” you’re playing percussiom so you need to use different kinds of drums and other stuff like bells, xylophone, crash cymbols, timpani, triangle, snare drum, wood block, etc. Your choice lol. I think string instruments are interesting like violin. Also, don’t get violin mixed up with viola :b anyways, to answer your question, I’d probably pick “drums” if I were you. You should try both to see which you’re better at though

Depends on what you want to get out of it. I would choose Violin. Because I’ve been playing it for 14 years, so I know more about it to say for sure violin. I think that first of all, it should depend on what type of music you would like to play.

The drums are more band instruments than orchestra. Think about whether you would like to play classical music or band/jazz music. The better you play violin the better your productions could be as you would be able to create those melodies you have in your head easier.

Drums are fun but a real kit is loud and takes space so you may as well play rb or gh for drums. You can also get pads on a midi controller so you can tap out drums in a sequencer – the same sequencer and midi controller – plus it will make you a whizz at rock band 3 pro expert keyboard too. If you’re worried about playing at home, just put towels onto the drums, you still get the sound and you can practise, but it also keeps your neighbours happy!

Nothing is too hard to learn! Perhaps try taster classes somewhere, do a bit of both! Also – ultimately it should depend on whichever makes you happy. From my experience violin needs a lot of patience, perseverance (just like any instrument). But when I began the sound was “screechy” and it took time to grasp the timing and melodies. It was definitely one of the hardest instruments I’ve ever had to learn.

drums. Violin is extremely difficult to play (trust me i play and I regret choosing it). Plus if you play drums maybe you could play in a band
