    These really stay in tune. The Martin marquis 80/20 HOLD THEIR TUNING far better. For a 12 string that is everything. I have tried others, but none held their tuning as well.
    The silk end windings preserve the bridge. The strings are not overly bright, important for a 12 string.

    I replace strings every couple of months. The thing I found great was the light/med. gauge, which was the sweet spot I had been looking for on my Martin D-35. I’m also using them on my Gibson Songbird and my cheap-o Epiphone, with equally great results.
