Amazing strings. They have a very deep, vibrant, growl. They especially sound good on a Warwick, which are prone to a metallic fret buzz. I can nail the tone from “Would?” by Alice in Chains with just a cheap amp and no distortion or effects. I’ve used the medium gauge (.45-.105) version of these strings in the past when I played in a lower tuning with my band, but I have to say I much prefer the lighter gauge. They still sound great at a dropped tuning, and are easier to play on. Also, the threads at the end are in an awesome looking blue, so a plus for that as well! Though I have only had these on for a day I don’t doubt their longevity as the Dean Markley strings they were replacing on my bass still sounded great, but one of the strings snapped.

I gig regularly with these strings and in spite of the toxic sweat that emits from my hands, they hold that nice bright tone longer than any other string I’ve ever used. And when they start to go dull I usually boil them to get even more life out of them. But thanks to the insanely low price on these from Pitbull Audio, I can probably afford to change them more often!

Great strings for ballsy rock and progressive rock. Deep and full but with good top-end zing. Easier on the fingers than Roto’s and they last longer. I wouldn’t buy these for jazzy or mellow stuff, there’s a bit more harmonics goin on (grind) than fundamental, but for rock these are great. I bought a second set a week after getting the first set.
