Well, you love music. Are you open to other suggestions other than the entertainment music industry? In the ‘industry’ you can do a couple things. Write music/lyrics (You didnt think Brit Spears wrote all those songs herself did you!) you could be a recording engineer, you could be in promotion, sales, a tour organizer, manager, etc. There are lots of things that you can do in the music industry that wont have you working with music at all.
On the other hand, there are lots of things you can do with music that arent in the ‘industry.’ You can teach, perform in operas, musical theater, broadway and broadway type shows, sing for karaoke cds, sing for commercials, arrange for musicians, compose music for orchestras, symphonies, choirs, other musical groups, you can even be a music therapist. There are lots of music related careers you can have. They arent easy or ‘guaranteed’ like say, an accountant would be. If you’re an accountant you can go almost anywhere and get work….or a doctor or lawyer…but in any music career, you’re probably going to be broke a lot of times, and/or be a freelancer. So good luck to you!

are you a musician? do you know anything about music? Like live sound, or recording studios, or sound equipment, or management. or any thing at all relating to the business. If not then start learning or the answer is no.

Dude try and join a band.
Be their lyricist..
And if u really wanna make it big, send some of you lyrics to a record company…hopefully if ur good enough…you’ll get big…
But remember to start small…but if ur confident..send the lyrics to Trustkill or any other big names… Good luck…
